Tough times for fundraisers, and not exactly a windfall of cash coming to support Measure R, reports the Daily News. "Campaigns for three local measures [Proposition S, Measure R, Proposition A] all raised less than $265,000 each through September. By comparison, earlier this year supporters of Proposition S, which extended the city's utility user tax, had donated more than $1.5 million a month before the Feb. 5 election....The campaign in support of Measure R, the half-percent sales tax for transportation projects, has collected $100,000 so far.
