Nerves are already frayed following this morning's Blue Line crash (that followed last week's horrific Metrolink crash), so it was mighty unpleasant when Westside office workers spotted a rather large cloud of smoke at about 11 a.m. Suddenly appearing among three office towers near Pico and the 405, the cloud was gone before real panic could set in.
