Surfer Freeth Getting Head Back: A bronze bust of legendary…

A bronze bust of legendary surfer George Freeth is still missing more than a month after being stolen from Redondo Beach (it's believed it was stolen for its metal value), but with the financial backing of a local businessman, the daughter of the late artist who created the mold plans to make a new bust of Freeth. The Daily Breeze previously reported that plans were being considered to create another statue. [Daily Breeze; image via paper]
