The election results for Measure R (transportation sales tax) and Measure H (Beverly Hilton redevelopment) still remain to be finalized, with an update on the two measures, and Measure A (gang tax), expected this afternoon. So far Measure R is still hanging on. "Preliminary results of last Tuesday's election showed Measure R -- a half-cent transportation sales tax which requires a two-thirds majority vote for approval -- passing with 67.41 percent of the vote. The updated tally released Friday showed the measure still passing, but now with just 67.22 percent of the vote." [Daily Breeze]
