There's an update to architect Frank Gehry's pending move to El Segundo. According to a press rep, Gehry's offices will move into those new buildings at Utah Ave. and Alaska Ave. by early 2009. The inside of both buildings will be renovated, while a new model shop will be built adjacent to the two structures, the rep tells us. Additionally, Gehry's current office space at 12541 Beatrice Street will be taken over by advertising firm TBWA\Chiat\Day, which already has offices in the building.
