Now the concern among some West Hollywood residents is that the hanging Sarah Palin display "casts a bad light on the city's gay community," reports the LA Times. This morning neighbors hung sheets in front of the Palin mannequin in an attempt to shield it from cars, all part of a peaceful protest. Chad Michael Morrisette, who is behind the Palin effigy, has told West Hollywood Mayor Jeffrey Prang he will have it down by Saturday morning. [LA Times]
