At BOXeight: Kucoon Wraps Up LA Fashion Week

Kucoon’s show started and ended with an interpretive dance performance with three ballerinas in huge fire red wigs, and actually was quite amazing—different from most interpretive dance performances we have seen in the past. The clothes were very ruffly and vintage-y, complete with corset and Victorian collar dress, save for a couple of pieces which made the strongest impression: a gray jersey jumpsuit which was one of the best we’ve seen this season (a bit Halston-esque), and a black and white low cut dress which had a '50s southern Italian vibe to it, nicely styled with a loosely tied head scarf.
