With attention to styling, attitude and music, Elmer Ave showcased a time-traveling collection, starting with "Puttin' on the Ritz" and a slim cut tuxedo. The "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" followed with an olive jacket with gold shiny buttons. Moving on, there would be Jimi Hendrix and "Foxy Lady," Guns N' Roses' "Welcome to the Jungle," Marilyn Manson's "The Beautiful People," and so on.
This season, Elmer Ave focused its tailoring on creating a unisex collection, The Doll Fit, with continued devotion to the the screen-printed, hand-painted body-conscious blazer. The highlight was most definitely the menswear however, with ankle-grazing trousers, vests, some double-breasted, and copious blazers and a very nice pea coat. The women's also focused on the blazer, generally atop lingerie, though we would've liked to have seen what the label would've done with women's bottoms, not involving fishnet stockings and boy short panties.
