1.) Record sales are actually on the rise: More records sold in 2008 than any year since 1991.
2.) Several weeks ago Pete Townsend showed up outside the as-yet-unfinished store, presumably to buy some records.
3.) Schield was named after Neil Young. Luckily (or maybe as a result?) he's a big fan of "Harvest."
4.) Neil Schield picked the name "Origami" because it "implies that you have this blank piece of paper and you can make art out of this very normal, plain thing."
5.) To celebrate the opening, everything in the store is 10% off.
