Lash It Up For Spa Week

Eyelash extensions for 50 bucks

What started off as a mother-daughter idea has blown up into a bi-coastal trend.

LuxLash began in Boston in 2005, as the nation's first spa focusing on eyelash extensions.

"We focus on eye, lash and brow beauty," said owner Suzanne Cats while appearing on NBCLA's NewsRaw.

Cats was demonstrating one of the treatments her shop is offering at a lower price during Spa Week in Los Angeles.

Fifty bucks will get you "Try Me Lashes," a temporary 24-hour lash extension that is meant to be a "try-out" for customers.

It consists of more than 60 extensions to accentuate your eyes.

"They are more beautiful and natural looking than a strip lash," said Cats.

The full treatment takes 30 minutes. If you like it, you can buy the true lash extension for about $250. It will last between two and three months.

LuxLash is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. They are located at 9640 South Santa Monica Blvd. in Beverly Hills.
