Launches & Releases: A.P.C.'s Butler Worn Out (By You) Denim

French label A.P.C. has put out a collection of pre-worn jeans, not made-to-look-worn, actually pre-worn, called Butler Worn Out. In a press release put out by A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou (via Racked NY), we learn "people who like the crisp feel and dark color of unworn denim can trade their broken-in dungarees for a new pair at half-price. The used pair will then be marked with the initials of its donor, washed, ironed 'inside and out' and resold." On the Butler Worn Out name, Touitou says it's "an ironic allusion to an era when personal fulfillment was not achieved by wearing brand-new clothing."

The jeans will be available at the A.P.C. boutique in LA, but the shop currently doesn't have any in stock. So, if you're aching for a new pair of unworn A.P.C. jeans, and have some old A.P.C.'s to unload, head over and make the trade and get half-off the new pair.
