Now Open: Opening Ceremony's Little House of Accessories

Now, on to today's main Opening Ceremony news—this weekend, the La Cienega retailer opened a satellite shop devoted to jewelry, bags, shoes, and other outfit accoutrements. The Little House of Accessories is located right next door to the main store, in what used to be a branch of Enterprise Rent-a-Car. But don't expect any linoleum flooring here— the space has been totally transformed into a surrealist's dream of staircases to nowhere, gigantic mascara tubes, and floor-to-ceiling giraffe-print carpeting.

Inside, disembodied legs display shoes by Opening Ceremony and Slow and Steady Wins the Race, Proenza Schouler bags hang salon style on one wall, and desk drawers open to reveal all sorts of Linda Farrow Vintage sunglasses. In addition to jewelry by Unearthen, Pamela Love and Liz Goldwyn, staffers directed us to two lines that are new to the shop—Delfina Delettrez, who specializes in witchy spider-web cuffs and glittering, frog-shaped rings, and Kenshire Galleries, a New York-based outfit that has provided an impressive array of antique jewels.

During the launch party on Saturday night, an array of insouciantly stylish guests sipped cans of Bud while milling about the brand new parking lot—one that, if rumors we heard during the event are to be believed, might be the home to a new indie design flea market in the future.
