Cynthia Rowley guest judged this week; Kenley and her "mini-me"

The Challenge: Contestants get $100 to create a look for a group of recent-college grad girls who are heading into the workforce. The catch is the designers also have to work with the girls' mothers. All runs fairly smoothly with moms, except for Leanne's, whose first reaction to the look was that it made her daughter look flat-chested, commenting: "If we tried this on in a store, I think we would say we could find something more flattering." Oh god. No infighting this week, but Kenley does continue to snicker at Joe (even during the judging panel) and talk smack about Suede, saying ironically: "He can't interpret his style into different looks." Granted, she's a much better designer, but she's a one-trick pony with '50s-era dresses. Cynthia Rowley guest judges this week. The winning look will be featured in a Tresseme ad in Elle.

The Winner:Jerell wins again with a high-waisted pencil skirt, bronze-y ruffled blouse and over-sized cardigan for Caitlin, who studied printmaking. From Heidi a resounding endorsement: "I think you look really great. I love this look. I love your hair. You're hired." From Cynthia: "For her body type especially, I think this looks great." From Nina: "I like the juxtaposition of the casualness of the over-sized cardigan with the very frilly blouse."

Also earning props this week was Korto with a leafy green-and-white printed wrap-dress and jacket with keyhole detailing for a recent med school grad. Michael thinks she looks "current"; Cynthia thinks the jacket is "very cool"; and Nina say it looks "very well made, modern, young yet professional."

Kenley is clearly disappointed she didn't win with what Heidi calls her "mini-me"—a soon-to-be accessories buyer dressed in a printed dress with full skirt and peeping tulle, and topped with a fitted vest and patent cream belt. Nina thinks it's "charming" and "cute": "I think it says fashion." Cynthia really likes the belt, noting: "It's a little bit fairy tale but maybe that's OK." From Michael: "It's the right clothes and the right style for the job that you're doing."

The Loser: Ugh. Joe's pin-striped disaster skirt suit with an unflattering wrap blouse for a graphic designer trying to land a job. From Nina: "It's the total cliche of what a work outfit should be." From Michael: "Talk about a time capsule...you could wear that and go to a Working Girl party."

Just as bad was Suede's printed dress with floppy bell-sleeved blazer for a photographer. It really was a toss-up this week for hideousness. Nina couldn't even put it all into words: "I don't like this printed dress with this shape of jacket. I have a lot of problems...That's just the tip of the iceberg. I will say no more." From Cynthia: "Just a disaster."

Leanne was also in the bottom this week for a rather frumpy dress and cropped jacket for an elementary school teacher. Just blah. Even the comments were boring.
