Sunset & Dine in Hollywood: Flavorful Fundraiser

Sup upon bites from local eateries and support community-nice programs.

"Hollywood," as an idea, is often seen sharing space with the words "vintage" and "nostalgia" and "past," but one of its loveliest community-strong fundraisers is just reaching its half-decade mark.

Five years, though, can be enough time to establish an important event, one that helps out a non-profit dedicated to "ending isolation and homelessness in Hollywood."

That fundraiser is Sunset & Dine, and while it doesn't take place at the corner its name pays tribute to, you can find it not too far-off, at The Center at Blessed Sacrament at Selma Avenue.

Once again, a number of local chefs and eateries will be on the grounds to cook up small bites, and chat with foodie fans, all to support The Center and its critical causes.

Tickets to the Thursday, Sept. 1 sup-and-lend-support spectacular? They're thirty five dollars (and, you're right if you remember that this event does sell out).

Beso, The Pie Hole, Noodle World Jr., Stickhouse Gelato, Wood & Vine, Smoke's Poutinerie, and Fabiolus Cucina are just a few of the restaurants to expect. You're right again — the eateries on board are all found on or near Sunset & Vine.

Gabriel Garzón-Montano is the evening's headliner, and if you guessed that Amoeba Music, a sound-strong stalwart of the immediate area, would be behind the night's entertainment, you're 100 percent correct.
