How's your back-to-school-ing going?

Have you got all of your pretty pencil cases? The little zippered bags that hold your lucky pink erasers? Are your notebooks lined up, and did you pick out your lunchbox theme this year?

And will your backpack go with what you plan to wear on the first day of the new school year?

It's all coming together, but perhaps a bit of cute-a-tude is in order. To help us on that fanciful front, whether we're heading back to school, to work, or to anywhere that needs a touch of adorableness, there is the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck.

This is the truck that typically makes quick stop-bys around Southern California, zig-zagging hither and thither to visit a host of shopping destinations, typically over a single day.

But be cheered, for that particular paradigm has been changed up as July becomes August. The popular truck, which has a way of inspiring fans to happily queue up, has begun a week-long residency at the Citadel Outlets, just off the 5 Freeway.

That's right: Get there soon, by Sunday, Aug. 4, and buy your snacks and merchandise, the kind of stuff you may want to flaunt as you return to school, the dorm, or even your cubicle at work on Monday morning.

There's been some fresh merch in recent weeks, popping up at the truck, so even if you're Sanrio collection is fierce — er, friendly, we mean — you may be missing some of the new goodies it has to offer.
