A water main break forced a road closure under the 405 Freeway early Wednesday in Long Beach.
The break was reported just after 11 p.m. Tuesday on Studebaker Road under the San Diego Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. Mud and debris covered part of the road and asphalt buckled.
The 405 Freeway ramps were closed at the location. It was not immediately clear when the Studebaker Road ramps will reopen.
Water has been shut off in the area.
