Several crashes were reported early Monday after overnight rain drenched LA freeways.
A three-vehicle crash on the southbound 710 Freeway at Florence was caught on video Monday morning. The crash occurred at about 2:15 a.m. when a blue Camaro entered the freeway. The car reportedly swerved and spun out on the wet roadway, turning sideways in the right lane.
The trailer of an empty oil tanker then struck the Camaro, followed by another car. The blue Camaro was then hit by a third vehicle.
"Cars just kept coming," said the Camaro driver, Daniel Goodrum.
The inside lanes were closed for construction.
The rain is forecast to end before noon, but strong wind gusts are possible throughout the day.
