<p>May gray strikes again! Thursday kicks off an a cloudy note with areas of drizzle and skies stay cloudy for most of the day. Watch out for scattered showers during the day with a much lower thunderstorm threat. Light snow is possible for the mountains. Temperatures remain below normal with highs in the mid-60s.</p>
<p>For Friday, a few lingering showers are possible in the mountains and foothills. The sunshine returns for lower elevations causing the temperatures to warm into the low 70s. The dry weather stretches into Saturday with temperatures dropping back into the 60s.</p>
<p>Additional rain is expected Sunday into Monday as another storm approaches California. The persistence of a trough over the West coast will keep temperatures below average through early next week. That means highs will be from the mid-60s to the low 70s.</p>
<p>The weather dries out for the middle of next week with a comfortable warmup.</p>

HIGH DESERT: Mostly sunny and breezy. Afternoon highs from 65 to 70 degrees.  </p>
