Summer Storms: Flooding, Strong Winds, Stunning Sunsets
Aug 4, 2017
Published Aug 2, 2017 at 5:41 AM | Updated at 7:32 AM PDT on Aug 4, 2017
Rare summer storms slammed parts of Southern California to start off a hot and humid August. Winds toppled trees and tore down fences during a week of monsoonal weather conditions.
In Acton, a man was airlifted to safety Thursday after he was stranded on top of a vehicle in floodwaters. The region saw downpours that flooded properties led to debris flows across roads.
Below, a look at summer storm photos from around the region. Send your summer storm photos to firstname.lastname@example.org.
