Los Angeles Fog Warning

It’s something you should know with kids back in school

The National Weather Service reported late Thursday night "dense fog for coastal areas tonight into Friday morning."

"Areas of dense fog will affect the coastal areas of southwestern California tonight into Friday morning with visibilities reduced to one quarter mile or less at times.  The dense fog will occur mainly along the immediate coast.   By mid morning Friday...the fog should lift with improving visibilities," the advisory stated.
 
Most impacted will be the Los Angeles County coast including downtown Los Angeles,  Malibu, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Hollywood and Long Beach.

The dense fog advisory was issued through at 9 a.m. Friday.  Be careful out there.
