PARADING IN A FESTIVE MANNER? It's something we can do all year long, for a variety of special reasons, but our solemn and/or sweet processions seem to proliferate around the end of November. That's because, of course, many holiday traditions are associated with parades, and not just the huge kind, like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, but the more intimate and community-oriented parades, too. LANTERN FEST & ST. MARTIN'S PARADE, an event held by the German School Campus. Goodies like hot cocoa and cake and Weckmännchen, the adorable people-shaped pastries, will be served, and "(l)anterns are available for purchase" if you want to join the parade.
