Hello Kitty Fun: Little Farmer for a Day

Sign your tot up for a special farming workshop at Tanaka Farms in Irvine from April 2 through 6, 2018.

SPRING BREAK, when you're a kid, can be filled with all sorts of mind-growing adventures, from a day out at the park to an afternoon inside an awesome book. Going to a farm counts as such a fantastic, horizon-expanding adventure, too, but the chance to not just see the farm, but to learn how farming works, is something that only furthers the fantastical outing. And what might up that fantastic-tude even further? A visit from Hello Kitty & Friends. The Sanrio superstar and her cute pals have been serving as ambassadors of Tanaka Farms in Irvine in recent months, and special doings, like at Halloweentime, have kept Hello Kitty fans in the pink (bows). And such a special doing is coming up, for kids between the ages of 2 and 16, and it will uncurl, like a strawberry plant tendril, over five merry days. Those days are Monday, April 2 through Friday, April 6, when the...

LITTLE FARMER FOR A DAY... workshops take place. "The workshop is the same each day," says Tanaka Farms, and it is on from 10 a.m. to half past noon on each of those days. As for what it is all about? It is a "... fun and educational Sanrio-themed farming workshop," and it includes the cool chance to "... plant seeds, transplant seedlings, take care of plants, and harvest vegetables to take home." The cost of all of this lovely, under-the-sun learning? It's $25 per child participant, but, of course, if you're the tot's parent or guardian, you won't have to pay a fee for yourself, just your aspiring farmer. This'll be popular, for sure, so best sign up fast, as fast as it takes to tie a bow atop your head. All the darling details? Here.
