Heritage with Heart Series Opens at The Langham

Sunset & Symphony will serve as the first event in the local-sweet fundraising series.

FUNDRAISING FOR CHARITIES... located in your general vicinity? Many kind people do, of course, but organizations, local businesses, and landmarks of note also enthusiastically participate in giving back. And if you're an historic property, one that has ties to an area that go back well over a century, then you likely have been the setting for numerous events that have raised money for groups in the area. And The Langham Huntington, Pasadena absolutely fits the historic property label, given that it has stood grandly for so many decades. To strengthen its already notable ties to Pasadena, to further connect with members of the community, and to help others, The Langham is launching a new series called Heritage with Heart. It's a happening that'll roll out quarterly at the hotel, with each event boasting "... a different theme" and non-profit partner, with part of the proceeds helping the non-profit organization of the evening. The first of the Heritage with Heart events is up soon, on Thursday, April 19. Tickets for...

SUNSET & SYMPHONY... are available now, at $150 each.  The storied Horseshoe Garden at The Langham is the setting, a string trio from The Pasadena Symphony will provide the music, and "family-style dishes" prepared, in part, with vegetables from the hotel's garden, are on the menu. The beneficiary of the night? Pasadena's Union Station Homeless Services. Ten percent of the evening's profits will help the non-profit, which is "...committed to helping homeless individuals and families rebuild their lives." To learn more about Heritage with Heart, and to keep up on future fundraising events at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, be sure to check in with the landmark's social media sites or with the hotel itself.
