It's the spectacular SYV we're sidling up to here, and...

SANTA YNEZ VALLEY RESTAURANT WEEK... is the event laden with $20.18 deals. Again, that's before tax, and before tip, so do keep that in mind as you go over the acclaimed and flavorful places that are participating in the happening, which runs from Sunday, Jan. 21 through Saturday, Jan. 27. Some appetizing examples? Look to First & Oak at the Mirabelle Inn in Solvang, which has a petite tasting menu on which includes a charred & salted zucchini starter, a delectable roasted acorn squash with risotto, marscapone, and other tasty ingredients, and a caramel apple tiramisu to finish the meal with a flourish. Also keep in mind that "(m)any tasting rooms and wineries are also offering special wine and small bite pairings for $20.18," and a number of hotels have stay-over deals happening, too.

THE ESSENTIAL DETAILS, more menus to moon over, more potential desserts and starters to rhapsodize over, the towns, the addresses, hours, the everything? All right here.
