Summon Magical Meals at Disney Food & Wine Festival

Enjoy pineapple mimosas, Mexican chocolate custard, and a black garlic soy-braised pork belly banh mi.

WHAT TO RIDE FIRST? Grizzly River Run or Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT! or Mater's Junkyard Jamboree or Soarin' Around the World? Deciding which attraction to visit as you walk in the gate at Disney California Adventure requires some planning, some deciding, some conferring with friends, some re-configuring of previously agreed-to plans, and then just going for it, which means dashing for the decided-upon ride. And by "dashing" we mean walking at a normal speed, politely, with consideration of others, which helps everyone. But how, though, to apply those ride-picking techniques to choosing what to chow down upon first while visiting the Disney Food & Wine Festival? There are so many goodies, of both the vittles and drinkables varieties, and all of those many booths to call upon, too. The annual food fair is now, through April 12, 2018, so best get to studying what's available, edibles-wise, before you go. There's...

A FOODIE GUIDE, which lists everything you can buy 'n try during the special event. Highlights? Well, they all qualify for the "Highlights" category, but check it out: Pineapple mimosas, Mexican chocolate custard, and a black garlic soy-braised pork belly banh mi would probably make an ideal meal, as would a chicken teriyaki slider with spice DOLE pineapple jam and a glass of Mango Aqua Fresca. You could just go sweet, and order Watsonville strawberry pie, a Meyer lemon macron, and bourbon chocolate Whoopie pie, or you could stick to finger foods like salt & beer vinegar Parmesan chicken wings. Here's the whole tempting shebang, and where to find each food and drink, but dally not: While the rides you love will roll on past April 12, the Food & Wine Festival will, quite sadly, end.
