Born and raised in Vista, California, Christina has a passion for her San Diego County community and aims to share stories that inspire, inform and entertain the local audience. The stories she's covered have taken her everywhere from the far reaches of space to the depths of the Pacific Ocean — even if she'd never physically go to either.
A graduate of Arizona State's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism with an emphasis in entrepreneurship, Christina also has a passion for emerging technologies. The experience led her to The Washington Post, where in 2013 she helped launch its e-books division. At NBC 7 San Diego, she continues to explore how the latest digital tools can help us share stories that matter, no matter the platform.
