Kelsey Kushner is a reporter and fill-in anchor for NBC10. You can watch her on select weeknights and weekends.
“I love reporting because I get to tell stories that matter. Being out in the community, giving people a voice, and helping others understand what's happening in their world is truly a privilege,” she said. “I'm most passionate about connecting with people - listening to them, earning their trust, and shining a light on issues that might otherwise go unheard.”
Kushner joined NBC10 in August 2025 from WJZ-TV / CBS 13 in Baltimore, where she spent the past six years as a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter covering breaking news, crime and community issues. Before that, Kelsey was a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor at WINK-TV / CBS 11 in Fort Myers, Florida.
One of Kelsey’s most memorable moments as a reporter was at WINK News in Fort Myers when she was sent to cover the Parkland School Shooting. “I was there the day it happened and the days following - meeting with victims, families, and community members,” she said. “I will never forget the people I met and the stories they shared from that horrific day.”
A native of Hockessin, Delaware, Kelsey graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in communications and journalism. She earned two regional Emmy Awards and a 2025 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for team coverage of the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse.
Reflecting on her return to the region, Kelsey shared, “I am so excited to be back closer to home, reporting in a city for a station I grew up watching every single day! I can't wait to meet new people, explore the city, and cheer on the Eagles in the great city of Philadelphia (and I can proudly wear my Eagles green without being boo-ed in bars!)”
When she’s not reporting the news, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her dog, Miles, and her family. She also enjoys Pilates, trying new restaurants, reading, and traveling.
