Welcome the Spring Season with the Festival of Colors

California Live’s Jessica Vilchis shares a sneak peek of the Festival of Colors, celebrated in India and worldwide. Chef Imran Ali Mookhi of Khan Saab Restaurant details the beautiful holiday of Holi, its rich history, and the food which brings people together. The celebration continues as people, wearing white, participate in tossing handfuls of vibrant colored powders in the air, representing love, health, joy, abundance and new beginnings. This year, the celebration begins on Friday, March 18 and festivities will last throughout the weekend. Join the celebration from home with Chef Imran as he makes Pav Bhaji, a traditional spiced vegetarian Sloppy Joe.
