First Alert Forecast: Breezy Morning, Warm Afternoon

June gloom continues this morning but is weakening. Marine layer burns off faster today and temperatures are warming a few degrees to average this afternoon. Breezy winds for the afternoon and evening over mountains and deserts. High pressure strengthens over the weekend with a small warming trend through early next week. Tropical storm Alvin – the first named Pacific Storm of the season is south of Cabo San Lucas and will head out into open water through Sunday. So far it looks like it won’t make much of an impact in Southern California but we’re keeping an eye on it.
