AM Forecast: Rain Coming This Weekend

Another cloudy and cool day with highs in the 60s through Friday. An area of low pressure moves in tonight and into the weekend to bring rain back to Southern California through the weekend. Our mountains and deserts will be the first to get the rain with a chance for everyone Friday, Saturday and Mother’s Day Sunday. The wettest day of the three will be Saturday with showers throughout the day and a chance of thunderstorms. Rain amounts will be higher over the deserts, but should a thunderstorm develop, heavy downpours, small hail, lightning and thunder are possible. Warmer drier weather returns as we dive into the new work week Monday.
