AM Forecast: Last Day of Rain in SoCall

This is it – the last round of our 4-day stretch of rain is here and will pack a punch as it pulls moisture from the tropics and has the potential to produce flash flooding with heavier rain totals. Flash Flood Watches are in effect through this afternoon for Ventura, LA, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Rainfall rates above .50-.75” are possible. Please drive safely and slowly today. As you leave the house, the roads will be wet, there will be ponding, and reduced visibility. There have been multiple reports of rockslides, and shallow mud flows this morning. Rain will be heaviest this morning in Ventura and LA county, with continuous rain through the afternoon. Things quiet down after 6pm tonight, and then we’re done with the rain through the weekend! Friday is dry and a bit warmer into the weekend.
