First Alert Forecast: Dangerous Heat and Poor Air Quality

Warm 80s at the beach, near 100 in LA, well into the triple digits inland. Chance of afternoon thunderstorms over our local mountains. Excessive Heat Warnings extended now through Wednesday night. LA Basin Heat Advisory lasts through Sunday. Air quality will be poor inland this week due to the heat, smoke, and increasing ozone. Not much relief after Wednesday. Triple digits continue for the Valleys and Inland Thursday and Friday keeping heat related illness risk, wildfire threat, and poor air quality high.
