First Alert Forecast: Hot and Muggy Weather

Dangerous heat continues with record-breaking temperatures on this 3rd day of a 7-day heatwave. Excessive heat warnings – extended through Thursday night. Monsoon moisture is back bringing increasing the threat of afternoon desert and mountain thunderstorms. The added humidity is also making the hot weather feel even more uncomfortable and dangerous, elevating the potential for heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Air quality will be poor inland this week due to the heat, smoke, and increasing ozone. It stays HOT all this week with a minor cooldown next Saturday.
