Part 2 of our interview with Assembly Speaker John A. Perez….taxes and budget cuts. It looks like the legislature will have to go to the voters for help once again. State Senator Gil Cedillo is suing for back pay. Speaker Perez talks about how that is the wrong thing to do. The speaker says their main priority should be how to close the budget gap and how to get people back to work. He talks about the education summit at UCLA next week.
