A brush fire that began Tuesday night northwest of Los Angeles was 75-percent contained Wednesday morning as firefighters battled through the night.
The fire burned about 28 acres near the San Fernando Valley community of Porter Ranch near the 12000 block of Tampa Avenue. The area burning was "very difficult" for ground crews to access, fire officials said.
Helicopters were fighting the fire from overhead during the night.
The fire was burning downhill due to 20-38 mph winds.
Crews were making "great progress" and was expected to be fully contained by early Wednesday morning, according to the LA County Fire Department. However, Wednesday's low humidity, high daytime temperatures and northeast winds could be a disadvantage, said LAFD Capt. Daniel Curry.
No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters were defending homes to the south and west of the fire. There were not reports of damage to residences.

The Sesnon Fire was burning close to the site of a massive natural gas leak that was discovered by Southern California Gas employees last year.
"We are aware of the fire at the Aliso Canyon storage facility. We are cooperating with first responders, including LAFD and LAPD, as they work to keep the community safe. The safety of first responders, the community and our employees is priority one," said SoCal Gas spokesman Chris Gilbridge.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
