Avoiding Traffic From Biden Visit

Commuters on the Westside were bearing the brunt of Vice President Joe Biden’s visit to Los Angeles, with traffic snarled from Beverly Hills to Santa Monica. Ted Chen reports for NBC4 News at 5 and 6 p.m. from Beverly Hills Monday, Oct. 6, 2014.

Vice President Joe Biden is in Los Angeles on a fundraising trip. Here's a list of streets and times his motorcade is expected on Tuesday to help you avoid traffic.

  • The area around Santa Monica and Wilshire boulevards from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • The area around North Broadway between 19th Avenue and Daly Street from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • The area around Spring Street between 18th Avenue and Arcadia Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • The area around Cesar Chavez and Grand Avenue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • The area around Grand Ave. between Cesar Chavez and Olympic Boulevard from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Officials do not anticipate that bus routes will be impacted.
