Caught on Video: Monrovia Bear Feasts on Resident's Trash

A bear was spotted Thursday afternoon digging through trash in the 600 block of Shady Oaks Drive in Monrovia. Resident Christian Breitschwerdt says bear sightings are common in the area — about once every two weeks. And although the visit is “cool,” Breitschwerdt says, it usually means it’s time to pick up the trash. This video clip was recorded on Dec. 6, 2012.
