Couple Missing in Joshua Tree Died in “Mercy Killing”

Officials say it appears that the lost hikers had struggled for survival, but having run out of water and hope, Joseph Orbeso shot his girlfriend Rachel Nyguyen before taking his own life. His family called it “mercy killing.” Patrick Healy reports for NBC4 News on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017.
