LADWP Billing Moratorium In Effect Until Glitch Is Fixed

After tens of thousands of DWP customers received bills that were more expensive than normal, utility managers are blaming new meter reading protocols. Now, the utility loses its ability to collect money and send out “late” or “disconnect” notices to customers until the problem is fixed.
