4 Injured in Fiery Crash at Woodland Hills Target

A car veered off the 101 freeway, crashed into a Target store in Woodland Hills and burst into flames Sunday, April 3, 2016.

Four people were injured Sunday morning when their car veered off the 101 freeway, crashed into the side wall of a Target store and burst into flames.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. near De Soto Avenue in Woodland Hills. A sedan lost control and crashed into a brick wall of a Target store, said California Highway Patrol officer Francisco Villalobos.

Nothing inside the building was damaged by the fire, though the wall was slightly burned, officials said.

The passengers were transported to a hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
