ADHD Drugs Send Thousands to ER: Study

A new report by federal health officials finds that ADHD drugs, like Adderall and Ritalin, sent almost 23,000 young adults to emergency rooms in 2011. The reason for the spike could be the dangerous mixing of the ADHD drugs with alcohol or caffeine. Dr. Bruce Hensel reports for the NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on Aug. 15, 2013.
