CPR Refusal May Have Happened Again at Bakersfield Facility

An assisted-living facility in Bakersfield where CPR was not given to a resident several weeks ago is now under scrutiny for a case in which CPR was started and withdrawn. The latest incident involves a 76-year-old man who died after CPR was stopped per the wishes of the man’s daughter, via phone, despite an EMT report that read full resuscitative measures should be taken. Alycia Lane reports for the NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on March 18, 2013.
