Girls May Require Fewer Shots to Be Protected Against Cervical Cancer: Study

Traditional vaccines administered to girls to protect against cervical cancer suggest that two shots should be given within months of each other, followed by a third dose a while later. A new study reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association suggests that as little as one dose may offer sufficient protection.
