High Desert Hopes to Cash in on Hemp

Many know cannabis as marijuana, something to get people high, but the hemp plant it comes from has multiple other uses – from textiles to other extracts. Now a farm in the Antelope Valley has been dedicated to growing hemp for those other, non psychoactive products. Patrick Healy reports for the NBC4 News on Friday, May 17, 2019.
