Horse Named Harmony Rescued

Firefighters rescued a 30-year-old horse that fell into a ravine Friday in Rolling Hills.

The equine's predicament was reported about 2:45 p.m. in the area of Storm Hill Trail and Buggy Whip Drive, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.

Firefighters had to cut away thick brush in a deep ravine to allow the horse, named Harmony, to free itself. The animal came away unharmed.
