Humanitarian Worker Helps Save Town in Philippines

For years, one American woman made it her mission to protect people in the Philippines from floods, long before Typhoon Haiyan’s destructive path roared through the country. Thanks to her work, residents of a small community made it through the super typhoon. Gadi Schwartz reports from the Philippines for the NBC4 News at 11 p.m. on Nov. 15, 2013.
