Jason Collins Plays Historic NBA Game

Jason Collins officially became the NBA’s first active openly gay player Sunday when he played for the Brooklyn Nets against the Los Angeles Lakers. The crowd gave him a standing ovation when he checked into the game. Other players hope Collins’ bravery will help others in the future.
