LA Sheriff's “Extra Ears” Detect NYE Gunfire

Police are turning to a new technology called “Shot Spotter” Monday night to crackdown on New Year’s Eve gunfire. The Shot Spotter can pinpoint the source of the gunshots in hopes of keeping people safe, and help save lives. Lolita Lopez reports from Willowbrook for the NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2012.
