LA Calls for SCOTUS to Weigh In On Skid Row Cleanup

LA City Attorney Carmen Trutanich is urging the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse a lower court’s decision restricting the city’s ability to remove the homeless’ possessions left unattended on streets and sidewalks. The lower court sided with the privacy rights of the homeless, but Trutanich argues the belongings can pose a public health risk.
