Beck: Scrutiny of LAPD is Welcomed

The Los Angeles Police Commission met on Tuesday to discuss use-of-force lawsuits, which appear to be on the uptick in recent months. Chief Charlie Beck says scrutiny of police is and should be welcomed, but adds that with some 150,000 yearly arrests, there’s bound to be lawsuits leveled against the department. Gordon Tokumatsu reports from LAPD Headquarters for the NBC4 News at 6 p.m. on Sept. 25, 2012.
